Girls Tell All: What Do Guys Need To Start Doing?

If a girl can’t find a guy who’s perfect, the next best thing to her is a guy who’s so incredibly imperfect that she just knows she can change him. Are you a pretty good dude with a few minor shortcomings? Tough titties — enjoy your loveless life of tears, obesity, and a very well-moisturized dong.

No girl likes you for you; they want nothing more than for you to transform into the version of yourself that they want you to be. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but get used to it. Chicks are always thinking about ways they can change you, despite how much they might say you’re the man of their dreams. Because of that fact, I decided to find out, in a general sense, what the most important changes they want guys to make are.

Ladies, what do guys need to start doing?

Paying attention to girls’ interests and acting on them. Instead of doing cliche and basic dates such as dinner and a movie, take the girl where she would have more fun. If she’s into basketball, take her to a game. If she has a favorite musician that comes to town, go see them. There are smaller and less expensive things you can do to show her that you care for her, but those are just a few. Get creative. – Kellie Stritz

I would say guys need to start getting better at not having generic dates, conversations, etc. I think when dating, guys get into a routine, and as a girl, it’s extremely easy for me to detect that you’ve had this exact same conversation with other girls. – Rachel Page

Shaving. Everywhere. Girls are pretty much broken records when it comes to nagging guys to keep the hair “down there” maintained, but recently it seems like there’s been an excessive number of guys trying to grow beards. That being said, there’s one thing I have to make clear: the attempted facial hair that ends up looking more like a stringy pedophile mustache is not hot. There might be some guy out there who just lives for his perfectly manicured beard and there is probably some chick out there who would be DTF the Dan Bilzerian looking type (newsflash: that girl is not me), but no girl on the face of the planet is going to be turned on by those thin pubes on your upper lip. Sometimes the 5 o’clock shadow can be hot, but the scruff has to be well-maintained. My goal is to make out with a hottie, not smother my face in a fucking prickly-ass rosebush. – Blonde_boozy

Taking some responsibility. I mean, the actual probability of every girl you’ve ever dated being crazy is slim to none. So odds are that some of your past relationship issues are on you, and it’s time that you start owning that.
