The 2013 version of Summer of Gronk has the potential to, unimaginably, reach new heights. Gronkowski grabbed headlines earlier this week for shirtless-power-bombing his friend on stage at a Vegas nightclub — man, Gronk just really enjoys spiking the hell out of things, doesn’t he? Suffice it to say, his offseason is starting off at a very Gronk-like pace. Then an offer for porn hits the news just a few days later, and we’re not even into the spring yet. The New England front office is going to be white-knuckling it all offseason hoping their second most valuable asset doesn’t go off the deep end.

Sex.com (how the hell does one acquire the ‘sex.com’ URL is what I want to know) knocks this one out of the park with an absolute genius marketing ploy. Is Gronk going to accept this $3,750,000 payday to bump uglies with now un-retired porn star Bibi Jones with the cameras rolling? Of course he won’t, but now we’re all talking about it, thus resulting in mainstreaming the “sex.com” name.

If he were to sign on and this actually played out — it won’t, but IF — the producers of this smut flick would be missing out on a golden cinematic moment if the scene didn’t cut in with Gronk just picking a naked Jones up over his head and spiking her down on a futon. I may watch that.
