You’ve got to respect a man who sticks to his word. As men, bets are a part of our lives that are practically ingrained in us from birth. Bets feed our egos and help satisfy our need to humiliate our opponent when we are victorious.

One such bet occurred last month in Provo, Utah, when Andrew Wilcox and his younger brother bet on a game of one-on-one basketball. The bet was if his brother won, Andrew would dance for 30 minutes on the corner of the busiest intersection in Provo. Andrew agreed, since he had never before lost to his little brother–but sure enough, Andrew lost, and hilarity ensued.

Sticking to his word, the brothers drove to the intersection and Andrew fulfilled the bet, recording all of it on a video posted to YouTube.

Wearing a t-shirt that said “I Lost A Bet” written in Sharpie across the front, Andrew danced on the corner and absolutely rocked it, earning honks and praise from passing cars. Making the most of the situation, Andrew danced his heart out to songs ranging from Mephiskapheles’ “The Bumble Bee Tuna Song” to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” As it turns out, the video proves he is actually a fairly talented dancer.

As he danced, Andrew attracted several dancing partners and even a dog. Sticking to his philosophy of making the most out of the situation, he asked for one of his partner’s number and promptly scheduled a date with her for later in the week.

Thanks for the laughs, Andrew. Hope you had fun on your date.
