Happy 50th Birthday to the Head of the Mother ****ing State
Fifty is a monumental birthday for every man, but when you’re the President of the United States you have more to reflect upon than the average citizen, and less opportunity to do so. We’ve all seen how horribly the leaders of our nation age during their years in office. W. went in looking spry and came out looking fatigued. President Obama already looks ready to retire (and probably will November of 2012). But, regardless of how you feel about his policies or the progress he hasn’t made, at least he made it to 50 and dropped one hit single.

Moving past the video, I just wanted to say I am so GRATEFUL Obama is our president–someone who actually cares about the people and not just about catering to the wealthy. Plus, he’s an inspiration–a brilliant man. So proud to be from the University where he taught and was so involved in.

I really admire the guy. He’s the best thing to happen to America since Bush was elected–he’s improved our image so much on the international front, provided health care to many, and invested a lot in education for our country, plus so much more. He’s such a reasonable, calm man, and a president who truly values human rights.

If you think spending close to 5 trillion dollars in only three years is good, while Bush only spent around 6 trillion in 8 years while involved in two wars, then be my guest. Also, provided that most Muslim nations do not respect him due to the fact that the Islam faith is passed form the father down, which his father is muslim, and Obama is said to not be Muslim, or the fact his wife gave dvd’s as a gift to the prime minister of England, a country that does not is known not to have the technology to use dvd’s, our International image has in fact not improved.
