Hot UNT Cheerleader Plays Zombie On AMC’s “Walking Dead”

Twenty-year-old University of North Texas cheerleader Taylor Towery is not your average college student. She’s a flesh-craving zombie who has an unquenchable thirst for blood. Well, at least on TV. Towery spends her free time as a zombie on AMC’s hit TV show “The Walking Dead”, where she is constantly viciously attacked (fictitiously, of course) for a little extra beer money.

I’ve been killed a total of five or six times. I’ve been stabbed a few times, shot, hit in the head with a shovel. I was in front of a fence and the zombies trampled over me, and I got shot in the head.

Her dad is the stunt coordinator for the show, so her break into the business may not have taken as much effort as all of the other wannabe television zombies who didn’t get a call back. Still, it’s pretty impressive considering the load for a college cheerleader is already ridiculously excessive.

As a former actor myself (many of you may recognize me for my work as Bellhop #2 and Churchgoer #36 in Showtime’s “Homeland”), I can sympathize with all of the notoriety that comes with being a television star. Unfortunately for Towery, her reign of flesh-devouring terror will come to an end this season when she gets her head brutally sliced off by, I assume, a non-zombie. It’s still got to be less painful than sitting through a North Texas basketball game.
