How High Is Brett Bielema Saying Arkansas Can Still Make The College Football Playoff?
Brett Bielema has a knack for pumping out some quality press conference quotes. He called the win over Texas in the Texas Bowl “sexual,” and he took a nice cheap shot at Ohio State last week with regard to their strength of schedule. He’s a ticking time bomb when it comes to quality quotes.
So what is big ol’ Brett going to say after suffering a home loss to a MAC team in Toledo? Is he going to retract his statements on the strength of schedule and say that maybe they should worry about handling their own cupcakes first? No, because Brett is delusional, and delusional people still think they have a shot. So he came out and compared his team to last year’s Ohio State team.
Bielema: I'm not going to comment on any other team's schedule, but there were teams last year that lost early but came back later in season

Let’s take a closer look at Arkansas’ season after Saturday:

There is no coming back from losing to Toledo. I don’t care how much you try and spin it. You can’t even attempt to say that Arkansas was looking ahead to Texas Tech next week. No one has looked ahead to Texas Tech since Crabtree was roaming the sidelines. I don’t just want whatever drugs Bielema is on — I need them.
Ohio State has so much real estate in Bielema’s head that you’d think he’s still coaching in the Big 10..

Good god his reaction would be solid gold if they lose to Tech
10 years ago at 11:15 amSo, last years championship means nothing?
10 years ago at 1:41 pmFuck, I commented on the wrong one… I’ll be running if you need me
10 years ago at 1:42 pmYou guys know that occasional pledge – or god forbid, rush – that gets way too chummy with actives and makes presumptuous comments like, “When I’m a brother…” And you end up blackballing him because the kid frankly just sucks and doesn’t understand respect? That’s Bert. He hasn’t done a damn thing to brand himself with the SEC name but is delusional enough to assume he’s one of college football’s elite just because he’s part of something that other people, like Saban, built.
10 years ago at 11:30 amLet it all out man we are here for you
10 years ago at 11:32 amYou’ve thought about this for a long time and have been just waiting for a chance to say it
10 years ago at 11:38 amAgreed. He’s so quick to shit on the Big Ten now that he’s in the SEC. But without the Big Ten no one would have touched him with a 10-foot-pole. He hasn’t done anything at Arkansas and never will.
10 years ago at 12:55 pmSomeone’s got Bert on the brain…
10 years ago at 3:22 pmAmen
10 years ago at 7:35 amFuck the SEC.
10 years ago at 11:33 amIs toledo even D1?
10 years ago at 3:27 pmBarely
10 years ago at 3:43 pmBrett’s weight gain is similar to that of Danny Reggs
10 years ago at 11:36 amSo many inbreds are going to be disappointed with Arkansas this year.
10 years ago at 11:36 amHe has a point with OSU. They don’t play a meaningful game until November against MSU. And their out of conference schedule minus VT is garbage.
10 years ago at 12:03 pmYou lose all credibility when you lose to Toledo
10 years ago at 6:21 pmWe’ll take it
10 years ago at 7:36 amBrett Bielema: the coach who most resembles his team’s mascot.
10 years ago at 2:25 pmWe get it you like OU.
