I Can’t Stop Watching This Unreal Touchdown Catch From Last Night’s UCLA-Stanford Game

This is, without question, the play of the year in college football — and it came on a Thursday night.
Stanford wide receiver Francis Owusu pulled some Houdini shit last night, reaching around a defender and trapping a ball against his back for one of the greatest touchdown catches of all time. Take a look, and then another, and then another..
This is one of those plays you see basically once a decade. It will be on highlight reels for the next 20 years. It reminds me of Tyrone Prothro’s amazing grab from like ten years ago:
Even Stanford coach David Shaw was like, “What the fuck was that?”

Stanford is looking like a serious playoff contender these days. The Cardinal obliterated a ranked UCLA team 56-35, and outside of one final test against Notre Dame, really doesn’t have another toss-up game for the rest of the season. With its offensive line, Stanford could very well win the natty this year.
A couple more of these amazing grabs couldn’t hurt, either..
