“I’d Hit That” – UC Davis Has Students Take Online Quiz About Hurtful Words

I woke up today really wanting to dehumanize you. It would make it easier to victimize your sensitive, degenerate souls further down the road. It may be cruel, but words hurt, right? Well, at least according to the University of California, Davis, they do.

UC Davis has reached a new level of stupidity that only those in the highest levels of academia can achieve. Students are now required to complete an online quiz prior to registering for classes. The quiz is crucial in the safety of all UC Davis students because it protects them from the biggest threat to their safety: bad fucking words.

According to the university, the utterance of a single word is enough to inevitably lead to an unprovoked attack on an innocent individual. Logic! The quiz is designed to educate students on the harmful effects of speaking such brutal insults as “bitch,” “pimp,” or “slut.” Sadly, “educate” is a loosely used word. The quiz provides students with yet another reason to hate their university than it truly informs them of anything worthwhile.

As you can see, students are supposed to match each word with a statement that explains the repercussions of the word or phrase listed.

Ah, yes, every time I tell a bud, “I’d hit that,” I’m obviously devolving into a ticking time bomb, waiting to Ray Rice a bitch. The same can be said for the word “bitch.” They’re just so cruel.

If UC Davis’s broad assumptions are correct and every utterance leads to violence, every campus in America would be a mosh pit of convicted felons.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a university catch heat for an unnecessary and ridiculous online activity. Clemson University took a beating recently after it was revealed that students were required to complete a detailed sex survey..
