IFC At The University Of Illinois Cancels Presidents’ Council Due To Cubs Wildcard Game
A tipster by the name of PrezMorningWood slid into our photo submissions with a snapshot of an email he received from the head of Intrafraternity Council. It informed the presidents of each chapter that the council meeting tonight would be cancelled due to the Cubbies wildcard game against the Pirates.
It tickles me to see the head of IFC isn’t an uptight prick at every school.
The game is a big deal for Chicago fans, too. The Cubs have only been in the playoffs SIX times since 1945, the year of their last World Series win. The Billy Goat Curse is for real. Definitely an occasion to drop everything and drink heavily..

9 years ago at 4:00 pmBack to The Future 2 predicted the Cubs will win. They better not fuck this up

9 years ago at 4:28 pmI blacked out all summer to forget about the Brewers and baseball. Goodluck to the Cubs and Pirates tonight since those are the two teams with the best chance to beat the Cards.
9 years ago at 4:14 pmDodgers have Greinke and Kershaw, so in a 7 game series, they have a damn good chance of taking 4. The National league as far as I’m concerned is up in the air.
9 years ago at 4:25 pmI trust the Dodgers to win in the playoffs as much as I trust Hillary Clinton.
9 years ago at 4:27 pmAs a Cards fan pitchers like Arieta, Lester, Coel, DeGromm, and Harvey scare me. Clayton Kershaw does not.
