Commitment: Sigma house – Oklahoma State Chapter
Rating: Three stars
Position: WR
Hometown: Temple, Texas
Height: 6-0
Weight: 180 lbs.

Strengths:

-Cousin of Jordan and Jaxon Shipley.
-Great hands. Grew up playing backyard ball with his cousins.
-Great acceleration, decent top speed.
-Can get up to five people into the family suite at DKR.

Weaknesses:

-Was kicked off of high school squad after a DUI arrest his junior year.
-One dimensional player. Won’t be able to play both ways.
-Selfish. Gets pouty if he doesn’t touch the ball at least ten times a game.

Outlook: Couldn’t get into UT, despite family ties, but chose OSU for their well-known Greek community. Loves to party, but is pretty irresponsible compared to your average 18-year-old. Despite all this, he’s going to take some coaching and could really turn into a great possession receiver. Takes good care of the football.

Worst case: Locker room cancer.
Best case: Will be a nuisance to opponents. Scrappy player if he knows his role early on.

Any kid who played backup in high school sure as hell isn’t getting any playing time.

Phil Steele? I’m pretty sure you mean Phil Knight. (on Thomas Eastwood III’s page)

I actually thought this was a great article.
