I’m guessing that you found this pic somewhere and this isn’t actually in Iowa- Iowa fought for the North…

Last national fraternity surviving from the antebellum south=southern roots, hence confederate attire.
Patty Murphy celebration from the 80’s, back when you could actually do this in the North.
      I rest my case.

Delta Tau Delta–Founded before the civil war like SAE, but unlike SAE did not have a chapter make it all the way through the civil war…. idiot

TrueLegacy, you could not be more wrong. The Alpha designation was transferred to the Jefferson College chapter in 1861 when the Bethany chapter closed. This chapter remained active all the way through the war and hosted the first national convention in 1866. Being fucking wrong because you are too lazy too look up the facts. NF

Bethany College is farther North than certain parts of PA, hardly what I would call being Southern. Also, since Missouri was a border state and sent troops to both sides in the war, you can easily say that Jefferson College was in the Northern part of Missouri that supported the Union during the civil war = Not Antebellum South

Our founding college in Virginia was going to be destroyed by the war so we moved to save our fraternity. We were founded in the south and survived the civil war so get over yourself sae.
