Jack Daniel’s Introduces Whiskey-Infused Coffee

Now there’s a new way to show everybody at the office you’re kind of an alcoholic: Jack Daniel’s infused whiskey coffee.
From Jack Daniels:
Our unique blend of gourmet coffee is 100% Arabica, infused with authentic Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey, and roasted medium to provide a full-bodied rich flavor. The distinct caramel and vanilla notes of Jack Daniel’s® Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey are evident in each sip.
I will be the first to admit I don’t know anything about coffee. But a friend of mine who’s really into both Jack Daniels and working at Starbucks (seriously, it’s like a lifestyle) tells me this will be a pretty good blend. It might even be more effective at fighting hangovers than regular coffee because the Jack taste should reduce the nausea. It’s like the shampoo effect of lore (though it’s not true hair o’ the dog because the beans are non-alcoholic).
To me, this seems to be an unnecessary product expansion, like Ferrari selling sweatshirts.
As much as I love America, I think I’ll stick with Irish Coffee..

I already pour whiskey in my coffee, why would I pay more for this?
9 years ago at 1:04 pmBecause this contains no alcohol. You’re paying for the right to act like an alcoholic without the fun of getting drunk. Why this is a good thing is beyond me.
9 years ago at 1:30 pmIs this considered an Irish coffee?
9 years ago at 1:19 pmIs jack daniels irish? God damn jackass
9 years ago at 3:25 pmI think he was, actually. Scots-Irish, anyway.

9 years ago at 12:38 amYeah I prefer whiskey flavored whiskey. From Ireland, Northern Ireland, or the southern United States.
9 years ago at 9:38 pmDon’t forget Scotland. I’ll take a proper Islay or Speyside any day of the week.
