Jeb Bush May Run For President In 2016
Another Bush in the White House?
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush won’t confirm he’s a candidate for the next presidential race, but he sounded like a White House hopeful Monday, declaring his party in need of leadership.
Bush said he wouldn’t rule out a run in 2016, “but I won’t declare today either.”
I really hope he runs. I want the U.S. history books of the future to read: “President Bush, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, President Bush…”
It makes perfect sense for Jeb to run. It’s made sense for a long time, actually. Back when George H. W. Bush was running for reelection, people figured that if any of the Bush boys were going to be president one day, it’d be Jeb.
And don’t mistake that for criticism of Dubya, but he was too much of a partier back in his day. While George was enjoying the life of a fraternity man, Jeb was studying away. It only took Jeb two and a half years to graduate Phi Beta Kappa from University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Latin American Studies.
People expected Jeb to be the president and for George to sort of hang out around the White House and be a screw-up, like Roger Clinton, or Billy Carter, or Ted Kennedy. But instead Dubya proved that he could, in fact, handle the responsibility and was a damn fine GOP president.
Bush faulted both the Republican party and its 2012 presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, for failing to garner more support from Hispanic voters during the last election cycle.
“It’s a gateway. If you set a tone that you don’t want people to be part of your team, they don’t join,” he said.
Would you look at that? I bet you could get support from Hispanic voters, Jeb. You only devoted your entire undergraduate career to studying these issues, in addition to plenty of professional experience as the governor of Florida.
Please run, Jeb. Run to save the GOP. Run for America. Run for all of us who weren’t old enough to vote for your brother and want to know what it feels like to vote for a Bush.

There could be no bigger ‘fuck you’ to liberals everywhere, than electing another Bush.

12 years ago at 6:19 pmChristie equals a 21st century William Howard Taft. Morbid obesity and Governor of New Jersey are not a good combination.
12 years ago at 9:35 pmI would vote Jeb into the White House every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
However those independents and liberals would probably disagree with me because for some reason, if you’re related to someone and they do something the public disagrees with, you’re an idiot along with your relative.
12 years ago at 9:32 pmTo be fair, Republicans said the same thing about Obama’s pastor and terrorist buddy.
