Jim Harbaugh Ran Up The Score On Rutgers To Get A Cheaper Ruth’s Chris Steak

I’m not entirely sure what the manager of the Ann Arbor Ruth’s Chris steakhouse was thinking when they released this promotion Friday night, but he certainly gave Jim Harbaugh unnecessary extra motivation to run up the score on a lowly Rutgers squad.

The Ruth’s Chris has since retroactively changed the promotion to max out at 50 percent off after the 78-0 Michigan win because they intend on keeping the doors open past Thursday rather than being an honorable business that keeps its word on thoughtless decision making.

But the guy or gal running this joint just must not watch college football, right? Otherwise they’d know how far this would set the restaurant back in revenue if they held good on their promise. A week of nothing but steak dinners with the wife Sarah where Harbaugh gets to dictate the price? I’m honestly shocked he didn’t hang a hundo on Rutgers.

After all, we’re talking about a man who is on record saying that he takes a multivitamin every day, and by multivitamin he’s referring to steak. There’s a reason Michigan went for two up four scores. This was straight bulletin board material in the Harbaugh household..
