Johnny Manziel Catches Pass On Speeding Wave Runner, Kind Of A Big Deal
When you’re wrong, you’re wrong:
Everyone’s making a huge deal about this Johnny Heisman pass that hits his boy perfectly over the shoulder on a speeding wave runner. Yeah, it looks cool and all, with it being lakeside at some mansion and involving a shore-to-water pass, but I’m here to tell you it’s not that big of a deal.
If anyone deserves credit here, it’s homeboy on the Sea-Doo. Johnny lets the pass rip when this guy is basically idling about 10 yards away. Just throws it up like a fade to the corner of the endzone. The ball is released, and wave runner dude guns it. You can then hear him let off the throttle a bit to slow his speed, then he hits the gas again and makes a last-second right turn to place himself directly where the ball will ultimately descend. Then, the catch–just beautiful.
That’s the impressive part here, not Johnny’s pass. His feet are on solid ground, too. Please, Johnny. What’s wave runner guy’s story? What are his combine numbers? Sign his ass up.
We don’t even know how many tries it took them to complete this thing. It definitely wasn’t the first. How many times, Johnny? Tell me. Was it five? Was it fifteen? Was it a thousand tries? Did y’all have to refuel after burning through a tank just trying to catch this thing on camera?
Cool pass, Johnny. Let me know when you pull off a real trick.
Did you forget about the time Colt did this with Shipley in a boat hauling ass by him?
