Johnny Manziel Gets Into Altercation With Fan In Dallas

It’s been a while since we last checked in with Manziel and with good reason. After a ten week rehab stint, our boy has been flying relatively under the radar, much to the chagrin of internet bloggers worldwide. Johnny Fucking Football was a content gold mine, raging his balls off so simple folk like myself could make an honest living and put food on the table. Sober Johnny, on the other hand, moves to the burbs and lives life like a total schnook. There’s just no action.

So when I see a photo like this floating around the twittersphere, my eyes light up. My curiosity is piqued. Could the Johnny of old be back?

Irving police broke up an altercation between Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and a golf fan at the pool of the Four Seasons Resort and Club on Sunday, Dallas Morning News’ Bill Nichols reports.

Manziel, the Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M, has been attending the AT&T Byron Nelson.

According to James McLellan of the Irving police, no charges were filed after a friend of Manziel’s pushed an unidentified 18-year-old man who stepped in to break up the quarrel. McLellan said that Manziel threw a water bottle at the fan, who had been asking him for an autograph “for about two hours.” When the water bottle missed the man, he said, “Nice throw.”

I guess not. The Johnny of old would have taken out that 18-year-old punk with a beer can spiral directly to the dome, walked off with the kid’s girl, and flipped double birds on his way out. I really do miss the Johnny of old..
