Auburn Girl Admits To Lying About Domestic Abuse That Got RB Jovon Robinson Kicked Off Team
Before fall camp started, Jovon Robinson, who was presumed to be the team’s starting running back, was dismissed from the team. The incident that led to his dismissal was a female accusing him of beating her up during an argument. The only problem? Robinson never did that, and he stood by his denial of the incidents despite being kicked off. Well, it turns out that the girl was lying.
From AL.com:
The accuser, who is a student at Auburn, told AL.com she was coming forward to “clear the air” about what happened between her and Robinson, who she characterized as a friend.
“I was upset with him because he didn’t want me in his room,” the accuser told AL.com. “We were just arguing.”
…
As to the accusation of prior incidents with Robinson, the accuser told AL.com, “(I) never reported anything else to anyone. … It was all made up. Nothing happened.”
Yeah, some friend you are. A friend doesn’t email their friend’s head coach saying your head got bashed in and he shoved you out of the room and you got a knot in your eye. What should have tipped Gus off is the fact that in her email to him, she stated she wasn’t going to get the police involved despite this being the “second or third time this has happened with him.”
Innocent until proven guilty is officially gone, guys. It had a good run, but this guy’s reputation was tainted the moment she opened her mouth to lie about domestic abuse. Now he has to deal with people saying he paid her off to say that and he really is a domestic abuser. Not to mention she ruined his chance to be a contributor to Auburn, and maybe even his shot at the NFL. Irreparable damage has been done..

Fuck suing the girl. She’s broke, I’m sure. File suit against the school. Make the case high profile and let’s get the ball rolling on this shit. It’s getting way out of hand.
9 years ago at 5:31 pmSue them both. Oregon lost 7.5 mil to Brandon Austin and Oregon still does the same Title IX shit but at least he got some money. If you sue her and win a judgement you can garnish her wages and place liens on her property for a long time. It can be a nice cautionary tale for the next bitch who lies.

9 years ago at 6:42 pmA buddy of mine, nicest fucking guy ever, and good looking, always had tons of girls after him had a girl he was seeing. She wanted to get serious, he didn’t, so he ended it. One night at our house we had a party, he was in his room studying, she goes in drunk and wants to bang. He’s like alright, why not? Midway through sex, she goes: ‘Wait, unless you’re my boyfriend, we have to stop!’. He pulls out and literally just walks the fuck out and at least 30 people saw him come out and be like, ‘this chick is fucking crazy’ and her coming after, yelling, ‘waaiit! please come back!’ etc etc. Bros tell her sisters to take her home because she’s not welcome anymore after hearing what happened and they leave.
2 weeks later he starts dating a girl he really likes and they start hanging out a bunch, another 2 weeks passes(it’s been almost a month now) and this new girl he’s dating posts a pic of them together at a museum. The next day, the crazy girl from before, accuses my buddy of raping her that night.
She gives a half page statement, literally a half page.
He has to go to over a dozen interviews with different people from title IX, asking him hundreds of questions, wording them differently, trying to get him to trip up or say something wrong. In total, his statement ended up being nearly 200 pages.
Nearly 2 dozen people who were there that night send in letters to title IX saying they were there and saw what happened, say he’s innocent. Half of them were HER SORORITY SISTERS. About 40 people send in letter as ‘character witnesses’ saying how he’s the nicest guy ever and he would never do this etc etc.
The people at title IX tell him, ‘you can tell your friends to stop sending letters, we don’t care about their opinions’.
They don’t get him to trip up, he sticks to his story 100% the whole time. He was sober and remembers everything. Nearly 30 people saw this happen. She was in love with him for like 5 months and just happens to wait a month to report this, literally the day after she sees him on instagram with another girl. It was a classic case of he says, she says. They, being title IX, of course believe her despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
He got expelled. Not even joking. The school, for some reason didn’t get the police involved, just expelled him. His reputation was fucked.
Luckily, it ended well. He ended up getting into another school and finishing his degree in mechanical engineering and biomechanics. Has a great job now that he absolutely loves and he sued the school and got a huge settlement.
It’s a fucked up world we live in.

9 years ago at 11:04 amSchools that pull that shit need to be sued into fucking oblivion. They need to be made an example of.

9 years ago at 6:46 pmGetting the last laugh. TFM.
9 years ago at 12:06 pmThis is why “you have the right to be believed” is trumped by “innocent until proven guilty. Fucking liberals.
9 years ago at 6:48 pmThere is no such thing as “the right to be believed”. There is only “innocent until proven guilty”. If you want to be believed you need to earn it by providing evidence.
