Kevin Harlan’s Call Of A Drunk Fan Running Onto The Field During The Rams-49ers Game Was Magnificent
You most likely missed this call unless you’re a complete masochist and subjected yourself to the worst game of football ever played in the history of the sport. But my man Kevin Harlan, being the total pro in the booth that he is, turned Case Keenum and the L.A. Rams’ explosive diarrhea of a performance into a well-polished, radiant diamond for a brief 30 seconds with a little help from “some goofball in a hat.”
While Chris Berman is bumbling and stumbling and “woop”ing his way through the first Monday Night game, Harlan stole the damn show with this magnificent piece of announcing. I know we like to be prisoners of the moment whenever something truly great happens, but this is up there with Al Michaels’ “Miracle on Ice” call for the greatest of all-time. No hyperbole. No bullshit. This is just pure poetry. Need more Harlan on my TV, and I need it now.
When you realize you’re not going 7-9 again this year..
Thanks Barstool sports

9 years ago at 10:29 amImagine if there were people hired to just storm the field if the game sucked? You’d have people watching the game just waiting for the guy. Play a game: how many fat cops does it take to chase down an in shape guy running around? Maybe paint his chest and back with adds. Way better than commercials.

9 years ago at 11:58 amLooked it up. Surprised to see something go to shit in Cleveland.
