Kia may not make cars that appeal to me personally, but I will admit that their marketing and advertising teams are top notch. That Blake Griffin is just a straight up entertaining fella. And with football season in full swing, Kia launched a line of commercials centered around a new theme: “built for football families.” Really though, they are just a way to poke fun at the people who are trying to soften America’s youth.
This video would have been made better if Kia had gotten James Harrison to star in it. Harrison wants nothing to do with stupid participation trophies, which he made evident when he destroyed his kids’. Harrison family values at work, right there.
I like the concept. You’ve got some happy ass dad who never played sports trying to tell his kid he did great because he was out there trying. Then, you’ve got the mom being more realistic. My only issue with this one is that she doesn’t keep her thoughts in her head. Don’t feed the kid’s ego. Knock him down a few notches and let him learn the importance of hard work. .
I wish there was somewhere else I could post this and we could all discuss it…But anyway who is this girl on the TFM snapchat talking about bass drops and stuff, I’m not a fan.
