Kid From The Burbs Gets Belligerently Drunk At Cubs Game, Banned From Wrigley
It was a balmy 82 degrees on Sunday at Wrigley, A.J. Burnett was silencing the Cubs’ potent offense, and Daniel Krupa just wanted to have a good time. Danny boy did what any other 20-year-old kid would do. He grabbed some fake IDs, got hammered drunk, and presumably heckled the umps and Pirates.
From DNA Info:
Krupa was at Sunday’s Cubs-Pirates game when Wrigley security began getting complaints about his rowdy behavior and foul mouth, according to a police report. Krupa appeared drunk and belligerent, the report said, and was carrying IDs that belonged to two people over age 21.
Krupa then poked a security guard, an off-duty Chicago Police officer, in the chest and refused to leave, saying “You can’t tell me s—. I ain’t leaving,” the report said.
What a boss. Stadium security is only a few steps above mall cop. They are power hungry and need folks like Daniel to peg ’em down a few notches. Unfortunately, Daniel was unwillingly removed from the game and received his sentence from the county judge.
“You can’t go to Wrigley Field this summer,” Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. told 20-year-od Daniel Krupa of Lemont.
That’s a bitch ass move, Bourgeois Jr. The Cubs don’t actually suck this year, and you’re depriving this kid of seeing them play in person. Don’t let the man get you down, kid. They can take away your summer, but they can’t take away your birthday.
DNA Info labeled him as a “suburban man.” I’m not sure how being suburban is relevant to the story. Is Daniel a proud member of the #BurbLife? If he is, Daniel is making a run at the #BurbLife Hall Of Fame with performances like these..

10 years ago at 12:19 pmA post about a kid from the “burbs”? Could’ve sworn ol’ Dorno wrote this one.

10 years ago at 12:46 pmThey’re still hitting off the tees in his league.

10 years ago at 12:15 pmThey’re a top 10 team in the mlb. That makes them worth watching to their fans.
10 years ago at 12:38 pm“He grabbed some fake ID’s.”..? Why’d he need more than one?
10 years ago at 12:02 pmNever hurts to have a back up
10 years ago at 3:40 pm“Sir, I can tell your ID is fake. You should probably leave now”
“Huh, weird. Maybe this one’ll work?”
10 years ago at 5:27 pmIm just a little upset good ole Daniel didnt resist a little more
10 years ago at 12:05 pmGetting hammered at a ballgame is an American tradition. Nothing to see here.
10 years ago at 12:07 pmConsider him lucky. I got banned from Turner field for five years for buying a 20 year old bro a beer at the game. Wasn’t belligerent and even the APD officer didn’t want to arrest us, just got hawked down by an overachieving security usher.
10 years ago at 12:46 pmI’m probably one of the few who’s actually glad about the new stadium.
10 years ago at 12:48 pmcool
10 years ago at 1:01 pmI did the same thing at O.co and not a single security guard cared. Then again it is Oakland
10 years ago at 1:43 pmFive years? Was the guy Todd Storm?
10 years ago at 4:04 pmNow I’m really sorry I missed going to that game on Sunday. I would have joined him in his “foul” behavior
