Kudos To This College In China That Deployed Military Squads to Stop PDA On Campus

China is a wild place, man. They’re all into this communism thing and don’t really like having too many women around. The food is different and cities are too crowded. I can comfortably say that my opinion on most topics probably falls opposite to that of accepted Chinese policies. But there is one new idea developing overseas that I think I can get on board with.

A Chinese college has come under fire for deploying squads dressed in military uniforms to crack down on couples who kiss and cuddle on campus.

The student patrols wear camouflage and helmets, and perform intimidating night-time drills marching around Binzhou Vocational College, in the eastern Shandong province, according to videos shared on Chinese social media.

A college official said the squads were responsible for clamping down on a range of “inappropriate behaviour”, including smoking and dropping litter.

But many in China were outraged that they have also been given powers to warn couples against showing public affection, and to threaten them with being named and shamed for their behaviour.

We need this policy in the states. I’m trying to walk to class, not catch a full fledged fuckfest on the quad. We get it Mark, you found a girl who is willing to have sex with you. Congrats, dude. Now put your clothes back on and remove yourselves from the fountain.

Most clubs in college are kind of boring, but this sounds like one I could get on board with. The whole shame squad just rolling around looking intimidating as fuck. “Hands off the lady, heathen!” I’d scream while wielding a stun gun that I am not trained to use.

This sounds cool and all, but how much power do these student militias really have? Like what are they really going to do other than make others cower in fear from how deep they’re rolling?

Media reports said the school had warned in an online post that “serious offenders” could have their names released and face public criticism on the campus.

Wall of shame? Love it. I got on one of those once but it was for not being able to house a bucket of spicy wings, not tonguing my girlfriend in public. Sort of the same thing, I guess.

You might not be so bad after all, China..
