Laid Off TFM Writer Dan Regester Is Taking All Of His Severance Pay To Vegas “To Double Up”

Dan Regester, one of our writers that we very sadly had to let go earlier this week, came into the Grandex podcast studio today to discuss his recent layoff, gambling, college football, gambling on college football, and taking the entirety of his severance pay to Vegas this weekend to gamble on college football to “double it up.”

I love this kid so much. Who is good-natured enough to join a podcast with the guys who are still employed by the employer who just laid him off? AND be in good spirits? Dan, that’s who. A great soul. Also a really great writer and personality who is a free agent so get at him before someone else does.

As Dan explains on Thursday’s Back Door Cover, he is taking all of his severance pay, which hits his bank account tomorrow morning (about the time he’ll be rolling into Vegas), to a Las Vegas sports book to gamble all of it. “All of it.” Dan departs this evening to make the 17-hour drive to Vegas, where he will check into Harrah’s and settle into a sports book and let it all ride on this weekend’s slate of college football games.
