Larry Bird’s Son Tried To Run His Girlfriend Over With His Car, Allegedly

Connor Bird, son of basketball legend Larry Bird, was arrested after allegedly trying to run down his girlfriend with his car on Sunday on the campus of Indiana University. Apparently, Larry Legend’s son and his lady friend weren’t getting along too well and things got a little out of hand.

Bird, a junior at IU, had gotten into a verbal altercation with his girlfriend earlier on Sunday and the two decided to have it out over probably normal college relationship bullshit, like how she shouldn’t slut it up at the bar so much or how he embarrasses her when he drinks so much. Police are saying Bird’s lady stormed out of the apartment after Bird threw a cell phone at her, but he drove over to her apartment to wait for her. The two then went to a nearby parking lot to probably talk things out and then have some make up sex in the backseat.

Well, that’s when things get a little out of hand. The argument again turned sour and the girlfriend tried to get out of the car and run away and that’s when Bird tried to run her down with the car. A witness on the scene helped the girlfriend away from the parking lot after figuring out the weirdo with the fat face and goatee was trying to kill his girlfriend with his car.

Indiana University Police Department Chief Keith Cash (real name) said that Bird is being preliminarily charged with battery with injury, criminal mischief, intimidation with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana.

Quite the list of misdemeanors there. I especially love the “criminal mischief” charge. I’m sure that’s stapled to a few fraternity men’s dossiers out there.

He actually tried to hit her twice, but missed both attempts. His father taught him better than that.
