    Companies can’t just “raise their stock price”, they have to focus on earnings and income and the rest follows suit. And a fluctuation in stock price doesn’t affect the company’s equity. Once the price for the IPO is received, the stock changes hands at the cost of the investors, not the company.

    In short, if you did say this (which you obviously didn’t), your CEO now thinks your a dumbass.
