Kenny Lee

“How did you hit it? Dead solid perfect.”

Kenny Lee has got to be one of Randy Quaid’s most underrated, if not most-unknown roles. I’m not sure if many of you have seen the HBO made-for-television movie Dead Solid Perfect, but it’s an awesome throwback golf watch.

Quaid acts as an underdog on the PGA tour that plays second fiddle to his childhood best friend Donny Smithern, a consistent winner of major championships. The flick culminates with an epic showdown at the U.S. Open, where the film features cameos from a few notable PGA players, including Peter Jacobsen.

Another pivotal part of the film follows Kenny’s falling out with his wife, as he starts seeing a very, very good looking mistress that helps him turn his game around after sharing her fairway with him. Lucky for you guys, this was part of HBO’s After Dark genre in 1988. The scene is right at the 60-minute mark:

If you’ve got a fever for some late-80s golf humor, Dead Solid Perfect is the perfect prescription.

If you love golf and Texas, I highly suggest you watch Seven Days in Utopia. One of the best sports movies I’ve ever seen, and 100% about golf

It’s called the best coast because it keeps liberal fucks and douches like you tucked away in the corner and away from the rest of this great nation. Unfortunately, the internet still allows you to annoy civilized society.

Drama breaking Tom Brady’s driver is probably one of the funniest moments in the Entourage series
