Let’s Get Weird: April 14

Screen Shot 2017-04-14 at 12.50.57 PM

It’s Friday, we’re in the midst of one of the best times of the year for sports, and alcohol is readily available in the United States of America, so let’s get weird.

We didn’t have a LGW last week because I was at the Masters, which I warned you about, but I’m back and refreshed and I’ve walked the sacred grounds. Read about my experience here if you missed it. It’s a little long, but I think an interesting read.

The big news on the site this week is our latest freelance writer recruitment campaign. If you are a talented and funny writer and want to write for our vast audience, please apply and attach a writing sample. I will be reading all of them myself, so be patient with me.

It’s good to be back, guys. What are we getting into this weekend?

Immediately regretting a decision. #TFM

What is your favorite holiday and why? Where does Easter rank?

    I’d bang Sergio’s dishrag

Back home when in HS easter was amazing. I went to a catholic school and they gave us the entire week free, so most of my classmates went to our ranches and country houses (they were all in the same area by a small town) and threw down all week, plus where I’m from the drinking age is 18 (I’m not a Mexican) so it was a shitshow. Easter has a special place in my heart, but in college I would say it’s Halloween.

4th of July. Best childhood memories are celebrating the 4th on Cape Cod with family and friends.

I’m torn between the 4th of July and St. Patricks Day. My parents met whilst out drinking at 11am on St. Paddy’s Day. So my existence or America?

Christmas break was always the best coming home and reuniting with your hometown friend group and trying to hide your newly evolved over the top debauchery from your parents

Growing up it was always forth of July because we spent it at our cottage. Since I moved to Savannah, St Patrick’s day has won me over.

Fourth of July very underrated, I will also toss in Labor Day as a solid wild card

Labor Day or Memorial Day. We always have a huge 3 day party in the woods on Memorial Day. Shits the most fun of the year.

As a Canadian who’s also a first generation American Independence Week (the week including the Fourth of July and Canada Day) is one long blackout and barbecue. Find me any holiday better than that setup.

Yeah he’s still serving a life sentence from a previous murder. But that just leaves the chance that if he comes back to life he doesn’t have to go back

Caught 5 years for a gun charge so he still owes 5 if/when. He comes back to life.

Hot take incoming: this new Kendrick album solidifies his spot in the top ten all time

Not that this is his best album, but it’s another 9/10, 4 albums of that quality puts him in there imo. And if he does drop a second album the stitching in my pants will not be able to contain themselves

If we’re excluding work from the 90s: Kendrick, Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, Andre 3000

I find it hard to disagree with Barker’s picks but if Tribe counts for the most recent album I’ll put them above Andre 3000. I fucking love me some Tribe

It’s true. He got caught taking pictures through a window of his neighbor’s 7 year old while he was showering.

And for those of you who don’t click on the links, A Little Boy’s profile says…

        Roses are red,
        violets are blue.
Dorn locked me in his tool shed,
