It’s Friday, it’s lake and pool season, and alcohol is readily available in the United States of America, so let’s get weird.

You guys are starting to see some new writers published on the site — the fruits of this exhausting freelance recruiting cycle. The new guys have only published a few, but let me know which ones you guys like, or which ones you maybe don’t like. I’ll take your opinions into account but will likely do very little with them, to be quite honest. But really, let me know what you think. More to come, too.

      How do y’all still think Wally is an actual writer? It’s just a member of the staff writing purposely shitty articles under a different name to get clicks and comments. Which is what makes them money.

        Regardless, Wally; the person or the pseudonym, needs to be removed from TFM. The content produced by Wally is not quality, and therefore is dragging the quality of the rest of the site down with it.

      I dropped out to enlist. In retrospect, I wish I had finished my degree before I had joined, but I would not trade the experience for the world. If you are going to do it, don’t enlist, try and get commissioned. The most I ever made when I wasn’t deployed as an enlisted person was $888 for two weeks, which is shit for the hours. If its something you are seriously considering, do it. If you don’t, you will forever be one of those people that says, “I was gonna enlist, but blah blah blah.” I’ve seen that regret define people. Also, go infantry or intelligence, nothing else matters. Finally, when you get out, nobody will give a fuck about you.

        If you branch Infantry and become a grunt you’ll have a promising career running a YouTube Channel/T-Shirt company…but really though everyone has their job so do whatever MOS you feel most comfortable with.

        Joining the coast guard and I could give a shit if people “Give a fuck about me” if that’s the reason you’re joining it’s the wrong one. People always hate on the coast guard but I’m joining to save lives not take them and if someone can’t respect that they can fuck off.

      It wouldn’t make sense for me to have eaten all the tacos in the world, like how it makes no sense to think you can make a judgment about all Jewish people.
