Liberal Conservationist Author Is Majorly Offended By “Hunting” Photo, Doesn’t Realize It’s From Jurassic Park
Another person has fallen victim to the age-old “Steven Spielberg hunting photo” from the set of Jurassic Park.
This time, it was conservationist and author Joyce Carol Oates who hopped on her Twitter soapbox to voice her disgust of a vile and gruesome hunting photo that crossed her timeline.
What Oates clearly didn’t do, however, is actually click on the image. If she had, maybe she would have realized that the photo wasn’t so offensive after all.
Let’s take a look:

Oh, that’s Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg standing in front of a triceratops on the set of Jurassic Park.
This means Oates either didn’t click on the photo and shared it without thinking like an idiot, or truly believes hunting extinct dinosaurs is a barbaric practice that needs immediate reform. Her tweet did prompt some hilarious responses, like this:
@JoyceCarolOates @TillyTweets This is less barbaric than the conditions at the slaughterhouses for commercially-raised triceratops.

Oates probably prefers gluten-free, grass-fed and locally raised triceratops over Big BusinessCorp inhumanely treated triceratops.
It was probably an honest mistake or maybe even a joke, but judging by her other tweets I’m not sure we can rule “batshit crazy” out just yet..

I can almost always tell when they don’t use real dinosaurs in movies. Almost.
10 years ago at 3:24 pmRegardless of your stance on conservation, if you see someone killed a fucking dinosaur you have to be a little impressed right?
10 years ago at 3:35 pmI have watched the movie 100 times and I still cannot find that fucking goat that girl was asking about.
10 years ago at 4:44 pmSlightly off topic but semi related, I fucking hate these type of people. Nothing they say is ever grounded in fact, only emotion because they cried as a little kid while watching Bambi. You can give them every scientific fact in the world about how killing animals is actually beneficial but they’d rather spew bullshit. Rant over.
10 years ago at 5:34 pmThe real joke is this geed calling a clearly not self-taken photo a “selfie”.
10 years ago at 7:10 pmSitting* not stnding. But thats cool it was a god article. #AllDinoLivesMatter
