And somehow Maryland is better than that? Get the fuck out. The only difference between Maryland and Virginia is that ya’ll have a fucked up accent and most of the wealth from DC is located in northern VA. You have crab cakes though, so you got that going for you.
JerryBrones, from that other conversation we had, where Pike and Sig Chi were brought up, I know you’re a Ksig from my school. Anyway, to try and say our greek system, as a state, is better than VA is absurd. Except JMU and Tech. JMU’s isn’t that great, and Tech’s DFSL is worse than ours. However, UVA and W&L have insane greek systems, and the percentage of involved students is significantly higher at both schools. Almost every school in VA has at least a decent greek system, where many of the ones in Maryland are just awful (see: UMBC, Towson, Salisbury, Frostburg). It is solely us and Hopkins with respectable systems. Hopkins is FaF, but we have too many guidos for the whole system to be considered as such.
Whomever is right a lot of the time. If it is used as an object it would be right. Here, it is a subject, so it is whoever. Test by putting him/he in the sentence. If it is he, use whoever. If it is him . . . well you get the point. “He/Him spray painted the house.” You would say he; use whoever. Generally pointless English rules like this are left up to liberal English college professors (redundant?) and it doesn’t even matter. The only reason I know it because we all got bitched at for this the other day in my legal writing class.
Goddamn it, am I the only one who noticed that a fucking adjective (wrong) cannot modify a verb (spelled?) “Incorrectly” seems like an appropriate adverb to describe how the word was spelled. Follow the fucking rules if you’re going to call someone out on their spelling. Breathalyzer says .17
Virginia – NF

14 years ago at 9:09 pmJerry Brones, I hope to hell that you aren’t a KSig, because if you are, you’re calling your founding chapter NF.
14 years ago at 9:10 pmNo, I’m not a Kappa Sig. I’m from MD though, and I see through the FAF facade that Virginia attempts to portray.
Car taxes and 24 packs, NF
