he’s absolutely rocking that coke so I don’t want to see any comments about how he’s not drinking alcohol.

I know before me and my shop deploy we get hammered knowing we won’t have alcohol for 6 months. But we’re also flight line maintainers. Different strokes for different folks.

I don’t know how people could go into other countries to defend the rights of people like the Kardashians. Not to mention they get paid as much as a fast food employee and rarely get positive recognition from the media.

I’m not sure what you don’t understand, bud. You should be damn proud of this man for enlisting. While he may be protecting the rights and freedoms of fuck ups like the kardashians, he’s also saving your ass every single day he’s overseas. I do agree that the men and women of our military don’t make enough money, but hell they’re fighting for their beliefs and our great country, and that’s reason enough for most to join.

And one last thing. They’re not risking their life for recognition. Sure more positive stories about our military are deserved, but men and women don’t enlist to be celebrated in the media

Based off your poorly formulated logic you never should’ve joined a fraternity. When are we ever portrayed positively in the media? In fact I would even argue that within the last year fraternities and Greek life in general have been portrayed negatively far more times than the military. You don’t join anything for positive media attention and if you do then you’re shallow and stupid and never should’ve joined in the first place.

The Navy allows sailors to wear baseball caps, shit heads. It even says the name of the ship he serves on it.
