Man Spills 77,000 Pounds of Bud Heavy, Should Face Death Penalty

Some devastating news comes out of Maryland today, as one of the worst party fouls ever has been committed in our nation’s history. Some non-American truck driver put the lives of himself and others over 38.5 tons of Budweiser, probably already cold as shit, too.

A truck spilled 77,000 pounds of Budweiser beer onto a Maryland interstate early Thursday morning.

Maryland State Police told WJLA-TV/ABC7 that the 18-wheeler overturned on Interstate 270 while “trying to avoid debris on the highway when it rolled over near the Frederick-Montgomery County line around 4 a.m. Thursday.” WJLA’s photo of the scene shows what appears to be hundreds of cases of beer, pouring from the overturned truck.

Passer byers purportedly saw the accident, quickly parked their vehicles, ran up to the truck completely bypassing the injured truck driver, and went and laid on the road facing up with their mouths wide open to catch the falling suds. It was quite a scene.

Part of the highway was closed during the morning commute while the spill was being cleaned up, an effort that was expected to “be extensive,” and may take a long time, reports WTOP-FM.

Sounds like the “cleanup crew” is disposing of the beer the fun way. This could take a very long time, especially if hangovers start to set in. All they need to do is get the Terrapins Greek community on line one to assist with the cleanup. This mess will disappear in an hour or so.

They didn’t contact us about aiding in the clean up. I’m quite disappointed.
