Maryland Uniforms Will Commemorate The 200th Anniversary Of “The Star-Spangled Banner”
Under Armour and Maryland football are notorious for putting out really bad uniforms. However, the ones the Terrapins will wear Saturday against West Virginia may cause spontaneous patriot boners. Today, Under Armour and Maryland announced that the team’s uniforms for this weekend’s game commemorate the 200th anniversary of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and the Battle of Baltimore at Fort McHenry.
The helmets don an outline of Fort McHenry filled in with the American flag, which inspired the national anthem. The helmet also highlights the poem “Defence of Fort McHenry,” as do the jersey sleeves and cleats. Ditching the names on the back, the uniforms instead say “Triumph.” The captains will wear red belts, just as the American military captains did during the battle, and each member of the team will wear an undershirt that says “Conquer We Must.”
Just another way to remind the British of our American dominance.

11 years ago at 12:18 pmAre you kidding me? Uniforms are the one thing our football team has going for them, I wish the team was as nice as the uniforms they put out.
Maryland’s football uniforms are, far and away, the ugliest in college football. These American jerseys are cool, but everything is absolute shit.

11 years ago at 1:00 pmDespite its Liberalism, Maryland overall is a pretty cool state… When I think of Maryland, I think of Wedding Crashers, in particular Sack Lodge… played by Bradley Cooper
