Mascots Of The ACC Invade The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon
When I was a little kid, I dreamed of being a college mascot. There was something noble and magnificent about those costumed crusaders that fired up the crowd to root for the home team.
Being a mascot is a hard thing to live up to. You either bask in the glory of the dancing BYU cougar, or suffer the stunning and embarrassing downfall of Mr. Met or the West Virginia Mountaineer.
However, my dream faded away. I came to the depressing conclusion that women are more attracted to athletes wearing college jerseys, instead of men wearing fur suits and masks. The only exception is that if she’s one of those weird furry chicks, and they creep me out. I hung up my giant, padded foam head in defeat and moved on with my life.
Still, there’s a group of people who were bold and brave enough to follow their costumed dreams. Some of these people were lucky enough to invade Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show last night. Now I don’t watch Jimmy Fallon, mostly because I haven’t been sober or awake after 10:30 on a weeknight since freshman year, but here’s the video of the costumed shenanigans.
The mascots were in town for the ACC Championship at the Barclays Center in nearby Brooklyn. While in the Big Apple, these costumed ambassadors of collegiate athletic excellence were kind enough to bless The Tonight Show with their presence. To say they stole the show in an understatement. Take that, whatever interview Jimmy Fallon had planned.
Not all heroes wear caps, some ear costumes. And if this video doesn’t prove that, nothing will..
First! Sigmanugs mom’s asshole is today’s prize so I will be helping myself!
