Meet The Army Veteran That Was Shot Several Times Saving Others In The Oregon School Shooting
Yesterday’s massacre at Umpqua Community College was another act of senseless violence and I’m not going to give the coward that murdered nine of his peers any more recognition than he’s already received. He shall remain nameless. Instead, we’re bringing attention to a guy who swiftly and selflessly acted to protect his fellow classmates, took multiple gunshot wounds for his efforts, but walked away with his life and saved countless others.
Meet Chris Mintz, a 30-year-old Army veteran who blocked the door and held off the gunman allowing several people to escape before being peppered multiple times in the back, stomach, hands and legs.
Even in moments of tragedy, there always seems to be someone who heroically steps up and answers the call to duty. Here, Mintz was able to react fast, despite having to drag his balls of steel along the ground, and prevented further bloodshed.
Here’s to you, Chris Mintz. You’re a damn fine American. .

What the photo does not show is the special bed they had to wheel in to hold his balls. This rare kind of man stared death in the face and told it to go fuck off
