Michigan’s AD Simply Doesn’t Care If You Disapprove Of How He’s Doing His Job
It’s no surprise that Michigan fans are unhappy with their athletic director, David Brandon. Michigan football hasn’t really been relevant since 2006 (sure, the Wolverines beat Virginia Tech in the 2012 Sugar Bowl, but other than that, they haven’t been the powerhouse they once were).
One Michigan fan decided to express her displeasure with Brandon’s performance by sending him a “very respectful email that was well-written on their families’ opinion of the job he is doing and she said that they no longer were season ticket holders.”
Here’s the thing, lady. Brandon doesn’t give a fuck. In fact, he cares so little that he wants you to find a new team. Here’s his response. It’s classic:
I love everything about that response.
Let it go, lady. Embrace the fact that your program is terrible and wait for basketball season. Or become a Wal-Mart fan..

Hate it or love it, that truly is giving zero fucks.
11 years ago at 11:07 amThe Sugar Bowl was with Rich Rod’s team. Rich Rod would still be coach – and Michigan would have been better than Ohio State during 2008-forward – AND the Tressel never would gave been fired – if only Terrell Pryor chooses Michigan over Ohio State. Rich Rod loses Pryor, OSU wins a Rose Bowl, he accepts some improper benefits and the rest is history. A single recruit impacted momentum of two biggest programs in the nation.
Anyways, Hoke was a horrible hire. He’s Brandon’s puppet, because Brandon wanted to be Jerry Jones. Hoke will be fired in January and Harbaugh will be fired by the 49ers around the same time. Michigan will bounce back and Brandon will be the AD for the next 20 years.
11 years ago at 11:14 amguarantee even if he turns things around, he isn’t here for 20 years. He has political ambitions, this is a stepping stone either way.
11 years ago at 11:22 amI’ve never heard this before. You think Brandon wants to be governor? I’ve never heard that before. AD of a program like UM is like being the owner of multiple sports franchises. Few jobs are as choice. Dead serious, I think AD of UM is a vastly better gig than governor of Michigan.
11 years ago at 11:52 am2 biggest programs in the nation? Keep drinking the big 10 kool-aid, pal. I think it’s safe to say that the biggest and best program is Alabama. Not even sure I’d put either of those teams in the top 3, much less at the top.
