The St. Louis Cardinals’ single-A affiliate, the State College Spikes, might have just set the bar for creativity in minor league baseball’s custom jersey department. Sure, we’ve seen other teams don fans’ selfies across their chests, look like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even pay homage to the holiday classic, “A Christmas Story.” But the Spikes, who play at Medlar Field on Penn State’s main campus, just unveiled an awesome jersey tribute to the best production Will Smith has ever been a part of, as well as one of the best sitcoms of the ’90s: “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

The Spikes are set to wear the awesome, graffiti-clad works of art on June 29, when they take on Williamsport. What’s even better is that Alfonso Ribeiro, better known as Carlton Banks, will throw the first pitch and sign autographs for fans. I might just have to make a trip up to ol’ State College this summer.

Here’s another look at these uniforms:

I think Carlton approves.

If we’re lucky, we’ll bring you a story about him hanging out at a Penn State frat house doing a similar dance, come the end of June.
