Mississippi State Will Wear Some Pretty Sick Unis For This Year’s Egg Bowl Against Ole Miss
Mississippi State has been the doormat of the SEC for essentially forever, but 2014 has been a magical year for the top-ranked Bulldogs, and good teams get nice things–like new uniforms.
Now that coach Dan Mullen has righted the ship in Starkville, things are looking up for Mississippi State and its fans. Adidas, universally considered the lamest uniform brand in football, went all out on State’s jerseys for the eighty-seventh Egg Bowl against in-state foe Ole Miss, and they look pretty sweet.
Here are some photos that MSU and Adidas released today (click image to enlarge):

The gold numbers with state outlines is a nice touch.
Considering Bo Wallace is still the quarterback of the crash-and-burn Rebels, Nov. 29 is shaping up to be a big night for Mississippi State–which is looking for its first relevant postseason bowl in program history. That matchup is one of the most exciting games of the year. After last season’s Rebel debacle, all eyes are going to be on Oxford.
