You know one of you could talk about the looming possibility that trump won’t win the necessary delegates leading to an open convention and likely Romney nomination. No? You’re just gonna repost a Kimmel video? Ok good effort boys we’ll get em next election cycle.
Romney already said he would endorse Cruz, Rubio, or Kasich before he would start his own campaign or accept a nomination. I just don’t see it happening
The point I was trying to make is that instead of taking advantage of a unique situation to create interesting content we get another repost. The last time the RNC nominated a president on a convention floor was Warren G Harding in 1920.
Well yeah, fuck their reposts. But I’m not certain Hillary gets the Democratic bid. Bernie’s win in Michigan was pretty fucking huge for his campaign, and superdelegates aside, they are as good as tied. Also I think Kasich is doing too little too late. I could back Rubio, but the GOP would be going out on a limb giving him a bid when there’s very little chance right now that he comes close to touching Trump.
You gotta remember that primary success is a bad predictor of general elections, right now national poll match ups have Kasich and Rubio as the only two beating Clinton and the GOP voter base would most likely not give their loyalty to a third party unable to make the ballot in all 50 states. So the RNC would most likely go by the numbers during the convention. Also sanders did well recently but the extra monkey wrench that super delegates throw into the DNC nomination make establishment candidates the heavy favorite and Hillary still has a commanding lead.
All of the establishment hate for Trump is sounding like jealousy. Trump is out there building the coalition they’ve been dreaming of and they can’t stand it.
Donald Trump is tearing this party apart. He’s exactly the reason that idiots say “Republicans are all racist, sexist morons”. He betrays everything this country, and this proud party, that has stood for economic and technological progress and freedom since Abraham Lincoln, stands for. I hope that reasonable men like Kasich can stand up and show the country that the Republican party is more than that before people like Trump destroy it
Both parties are terrible. Republicans are as bad as the democrats on economics because all the money republican governments save are just spent on making democracies where people don’t want democracies.

10 years ago at 10:28 amLikely the committee would back Kasich or Rubio because they’re both beat Hillary in a general.

10 years ago at 12:48 pmMan if only there was a specific area of this website where we could discuss these issues in a proper manner.
10 years ago at 5:47 pmRomney couldn’t even take bronze at the special Olympics with the effort he displayed 4 years ago.
10 years ago at 9:56 amHe barely lost. If 200,000 people had voted differently in 4 particular states he would be president right now

10 years ago at 10:57 amIf voter ID wasn’t the devil, It’d be even closer. So many dead people are voting that several precincts had more votes than people alive.
