I cannot find a single reputable source that says Homecoming originated somewhere other than Mizzou.

I think the word you were looking for is “you”. As in you should fist yourself for being an ignorant jackass.

I agree, would be awesome if it were true. To add to the two other Baylor comments, Baylor has the largest and longest collegiate parade in the nation. SIC ‘EM & TFM.

Baylor doesn’t have a curfew. They have visiting hours. There is no required time that students need to be back by. Get your facts straight.

I congregate with many sorostitutes, drink, and figure out how to do the least amount of work possible with the greatest outcome ever night. I don’t need pomps and a step competition. Homecoming blows

Mizzou’s homecoming is the perfect display of the power of the Greek community. Look out OU, that #1 spot’s not gonna last.

Dear God if you could give our school a worse reputation on this site…

Arguing about who’s homecoming is better=NF… Worry more about your football team instead of your float in the parade. Big 12 sucks

Mizzou can trace it back to 1891. Mizzou was also the first to combine the game, the alumni return, and the parade in one. Oh, and we called it Homecoming.

    Mizzou invented homecoming
