Missouri getting a bid to the SEC then telling them they'll think about it. TFM.

^ Yeah more like they told everyone they got a bid, but are really nervous the day before bidday..

They’re probably thinking about it because they want to win a game sometime in the next 10 years, and joining the SEC would most likely prevent that

Last time mizzou played an SEC team they beat Arky 38-6 in the Cotton Bowl. Good try though.

^ ya mizzou beat a team with no coach and the entire offense (McFadden, jones, and hillis) headed to the NFL, hence they did not give two fucks… Mizzou is trash

No national championships and haven’t won a conference championship since 1927… and you really think they’ll magically be better? Nope. They’ll just be another team to run up 60 points on to get the freshman some playing time. Dont get me wrong I appreciate a free W, so thank you. Good try though.

What a godawful fit Mizzou would be. I do like the potential for AU to move to the east though.

That’s like an underweight boxer moving up to the heavyweights. Of course they’ll “think about it”, they know they’d get their teeth knocked in.

I’m pretty sure they haven’t gotten a bid and if they ever do, they would need to think about it because I don’t think any school wants to have losing seasons.

I had a doctor’s appointment that day because my mom thought I had strep throat so that was me that was absent during run-on sentence day and I didn’t learn about run-on sentences at run-on sentence day cause I didn’t go to it.

The Big 12 is actually ranked higher right now than the SEC this season in football so I don’t see why you all think Missouri will get destroyed if they make the move.

I love the Big 12 as much as the next guy but 1) you cant just say “ranked higher” that doesn’t even mean anything without a reference. If you mean THIS http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/26691/big-12-unseats-sec-as-top-conference then go ahead, blindly follow a computer ranking, It likely wont last that way for more than a week. 2) You are an idiot for posting that on here. You won’t last long if you keep that up. 3) Mizzou is likely going to lose 5 or so Big 12 games this year anyways. Maybe they can beat Texas at home.

One team is ranked higher, and that one team is going to be destroyed by either LSU or Alabama. Also, Missouri is going to be terrible regardless of where Oklahoma is ranked. Think before you speak/type.

Mizzou: 4-0 vs SEC since 2005, 20-8-1 all-time, winning record vs. 9 of 12 SEC teams they have played, 5 first round draft picks in last three years. SEC is a better Conference than BIG XII, but i think Mizzou would fare ok in SEC.

2 of those wins were against the Fightin’ Orgerons. So they beat 2 SEC teams.

Alexander C Earle, I know you founded my fraternity, and I respect you, but you are a damn fool when its comes to football. I love the Big XII (or whats left of it) but lets be sensible here!

Wow, they won a whole FOUR games in the last 6 years against the SEC? Kindly list what those teams were too. You would get destroyed year in and year out if you were actually in the conference.

    4. Tallapoosa Snu

Vanderbilt won 14 games in the last 6 years against the SEC. So by your logic, Vanderbilt, the team that is the worst in the SEC every single year, is 3.5 times as good as Missouri… good luck.

    1. Does the SEC care about baseball? Nope. We are a football conference and baseball to a slightly less extent.

last i checked the SEC does give 2 shits about baseball. correct me if I’m wrong

Yes basketball is bottom tier in the SEC but you have UK, UT, USC, UF, Vandy. Take a lap Mizzou and the rest of the Big XII

    4. forbesforlife

I suppose that UK, UT, and Vanderbilt holding national rankings in basketball every year doesn’t count for the SEC anymore. I wish someone would have informed me.

I love how we’re better than them even in the sports nobody even really gives a shit about. I heard Mizzou’s women’s badminton team is fucking sick though, I’m definitely hittin up some meets to see that shit.

    6. Greatest Bro on Turf

Fratist do you really think USC is good at basketball? The last/only big win they had was against an SEC east team, the last time to get past the 2nd round of the tourney was 1973. UT won’t be shit without Pearl. Take a lap and look up some facts.

Valid point, but we get around that pretty easily by not giving a shit about basketball.
