TKE actually came up with that saying, “cant go greek go TKE”. After WW2, war veterans couldn’t get bids to other fraternities because they were in their early 20’s. TKE came up with that saying, specifically directed to these veterans and was the first Fraternity to take them. Other fraternities followed after that.
The reason Reagan was so great because of all the things that led up to his presidency that made him the man he was. TKE was obviously one of them. Therefore, Reagan probably wouldn’t be the man we celebrate today had anything in his life gone differently, including the fraternity he pledged.
