Mizzou Wide Receiver Calls Almost Every SEC Member “Average”

Shit yes. Blood has been drawn, and Missouri wide receiver TJ Moe is still holding the bloody knife. I have been begging for some college football news to get us through these next painful few weeks until the opening kickoff, and Moe just gift wrapped this one for me.

SEC Media Days began in Hoover, Alabama today, and new pledge Missouri walked in with their chests out. I remember that pre-hazing ‘chip on the shoulder’ feeling that fall before shit got real. I also remember it’s abrupt demise when the ink on my bid had dried. Okay, here’s exactly what he said:

“It’s not all 12 teams who are dominating everybody,” Moe said. ‘It’s one or two (teams). The rest are kind of … average.”

The pledge has strayed, SEC members.

Average Georgia comes to town in week 2. Should be a fun game. You better buckle that chin strap, chief.

Florida will contend in the east and Tennessee will likely beat mizzou as they finsh 7-5 and go to the liberty bowl

Being from Missouri, it’s safe to say we’re the awkward stepchild. The south won’t accept us, because not everyone has a drawl or grows up on a farm, and the north won’t accept us because not everyone is a liberal and some people DO speak with a drawl.

good ol’ nebraska got their shit kicked around by south carolina, and you expect mizzou to do better?

Arkansas is Superior to South Carolina. Georgia is better than South Carolina too.

^^^^^Arkansas demolished South Carolina. Dont get me wrong, USC is a good team; not just an “average” one, but none of the east teams can compete with the top 4 of the west.

USC finished with a better record than Georgia and beat them head to head. Also only lost 2 games total last year and finished top 10. They are third for sec imo. Bama lsu and Carolina.

mtsigep: in 49 states USC is Southern Cal and in 49 states Carolina is UNC Chapel Hill. South Carolina is just a sad little institution.

A judge ruled that South Carolina can no longer refer to themselves as “USC”. Only, The University of Southern California may consider themselves “USC”.

Despite the fact that South Carolina was founded almost a century before Southern Cal. Hell, California wasn’t even a state until 50 years after South Carolina was established.

Arkansas is 5-1 against South Carolina in the last 6 years. I’d say we’re doing a bit better than them.

^^And yet Southern Cal remains the real USC and pretty much superior in every category, with the exception of greek life which is obviously more widespread at South Carolina.

      ^^^^For USC_AT,
      http://blog.patents-tms.com/?p=247
There is an outlined agreement between the two schools saying they are each allowed to use USC. Southern Cal does have a trademark on the acronym, however. The judge ruled against Carolina having a trademark on the interlocking SC, again, that doesn’t mean they are not allowed to use it.

After reading all of these comments I’m still chuckling over USC being mistaken for University of Southern California in a SEC story.

^This. I don’t know anyone personally who uses USC in respect to South Carolina, but it doesn’t take a fucking genius to understand context.

Though to his credit, we all will be hearing the three schools Bama, LSU and USC (and by that I mean Southern California) named together quite often this season.

Ridiculous. There’s always a sneaker team, or 3, that shines. Besides SC can’t beat AU. Mizzou is in for a real surprise. Regardless, the east is the weaker of the divisions.

I watched TJ Moe haze cornerbacks as a QB in High School, but I mean…it’s not like the SEC has won the past 6 BCS titles…so not buying it…

Being white means he won’t have an NFL career, but Id be surprised if he lasted all season with all those “average” swamp rats of the SEC trying to remove his head every single play.

This player’s quote would be pretty accurate if he was just talking about their schedule this year.
