MUST WATCH: Sooners Linebacker Eric Striker Just Went Absolutely Scorched Earth On OU SAE

All Big-12 Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Eric Striker is clearly very unhappy about the OU SAE racist chant that set the internet ablaze last night. Striker took his displeasure to Snapchat, where he unleashed an epic rant on white fraternity guys that will be remembered for centuries.
The entire OU community is rightfully upset about the video. Sooners football coach Bob Stoops joined members of his team in an on-campus protest this morning:

Current Arizona Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson tweeted some thoughts of his own:
A lot of my boys are SAE's & they aren't racist just these idiots. They have no rhythm either http://t.co/9sOA9lzStr

Striker is probably the last guy on campus I’d want upset with me. Not a good time to be an SAE in Norman..

OU just suspended their football program as a result of the Striker’s racist comments.
11 years ago at 5:04 pmOU University Officials have reversed the previous suspension after confirming that Striker is indeed black, therefore his comments are not racist and and can not reflect on the program as a whole. It’s cool cause he’s black.
11 years ago at 5:46 pmOU football officials have just suspended the university football program due to disturbing racial remarks made by representative Striker.

11 years ago at 5:53 pmI’m gonna first say I’m not Greek(shoes strapped), I’m a Soldier. And this hits home because, maybe it’s apples and oranges, but I see the media say they support the troops, blah, blah, blah, but one isolated event than can be seen as doing something unbecoming of a U.S. armed service member, and the media wants their heads on a platter. Take the recent Soldier sentenced to 20 years for firing on “civilians”, or maybe the Marine who pissed on the dead Taliban affiliate. One incident and all the good they did is worth nothing. The leadership that is supposed to have our guy’s backs throws em under the bus like trash. I see this no different. Yeah, they fucked up, but does this define who they are? Does this undo all the good in the community they’ve done? It seems like, just like the military, that loyalty and brotherhood rhetoric preached is all conditional and at the end of the day “loyalty” and “brotherhood” mean jack shit when other Greeks(or Soldiers for that matter) are trying to save their own hide.
11 years ago at 6:13 pmThe biggest issue to really ponder here is loyalty. If the main guy in the video was one of your brothers, a best friend, who had your back in a fight where he could have easily left you hanging, the guy who carried your ass gone from a game, when he could have easily left you to catch a MIP, the guy who kept your secrets juicy enough to tell the whole house. If that “brother” was the one in the video, would be so quick to pass judgement? Maybe I have a misconstrued view of loyalty and brotherhood, but isn’t that what it’s all about? Having your brothers back when no one else would dare to? If you’re gonna throw y’all’s whole friendship and loyalty away over one VERY poor lapse of judgment maybe you don’t believe in loyalty at all.
11 years ago at 7:03 pmI love how you never hear anything about Greek life in mainstream media until it’s something bad. Their portrayal of Greek life is just as much of a double standard as this jackass getting praise for his hate filled rants.
11 years ago at 11:01 pmIf people took 5 minutes to do some research they would see that SAE was one of the first NIC fraternities to completely eliminate the “White Christian Male” membership requirement from the fraternity Laws whereas some fraternites did not remove the clause until the 1950’s. We are not a racist fraternity. The Oklahoma chapter obviously was not aligned with the ideals of the fraternity as a whole which is why they were closed. We are taught to never judge an entire race, religion, ethnicity, or sex by the actions of a few individuals, yet is okay to judge an organization of 300,000 by the actions of 30 misguided and poorly raised individuals. Does nobody else see the fucked up circular reasoning that is going on here? I’m an African American member and I love this fraternity and what it stands for and I am tired of the media and self proclaimed “social rights gladiators” trying to convey my entire organization in a negative light because of the actions of a handful of idiots.
11 years ago at 12:24 amHonestly if he’s going to lump all white frat guys together as a whole, then he is no better than the SAEs that started the whole damn thing.
11 years ago at 12:40 amIt’s the teapot calling the kettle black.
11 years ago at 1:52 pmfuck that racist trash. but stoops is loving this. he’s so moral high ground and all.
