I Think Projected #1 Overall NFL Draft Pick Myles Garrett Likes Tacos More Than Football

Not just any tacos, though. Texas A&M standout and probable future Cleveland Brown (I’m so sorry, dude) Myles Garrett wrote in his farewell address to College Station published in The Players’ Tribune that he will do whatever it takes to bring his favorite Aggieland taco joint, Fuego Tortilla Grill, with him to whichever city is lucky to have him next (which is probably, to his dismay, Cleveland).

From The Players’ Tribune:

It’s been a pleasure to battle against some of the best players in the country every single week. I know from firsthand experience that the NFL is going to be getting a really good crop of rookies next season.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention something else I’ll miss deeply: Fuego, the finest taco dispensary on the planet. Those tacos were always there for me when I needed them most. Wherever I end up next, I will do whatever I can to make sure that Fuego opens a franchise in that city. This is something that is very important to me.

Respect. I’ve never been to Fuego before — I typically stick to Torchy’s like your typical millennial Austin yuppie scumlord — but the next time I’m up in Waco, over in College Station, or down in San Marcos, I feel obligated to give it a try. If Garrett is willing to drop hundreds of thousands of the dollars that the Cleveland Browns give him after they steal it from their 2017 season ticket holders with the soon-to-be-unfulfilled promise of not causing them all to suffer from a rare autumn strain of Seasonal Affective Disorder, it must be good.

Cleveland deserves worse than you and Fuego, Myles..
