New Snapchat Feature Allows Her To Charge You For Her Nudes
Nude-swapping app Snapchat just changed the nude-swapping industry by rolling out its latest feature, “Snapcash.” Snapcash will enable users to transfer funds to each other. After securely entering your (your parents’) debit card information, you’re free to send all of your (their) money to your Snapchat friends. Simply type “$” followed by a dollar amount, and a green button will appear. That’s your money button. Once pressed, the money is sent.
From TechCrunch:
[Snapchat] just added a “Snapcash” payments option to its app through a deal with Square Cash. Now you can add a debit card, type a dollar amount into Snapchat’s text-chat feature, and hit the green pay button to instantly send a friend money. The feature is on Android now and is coming to iOS soon. […]
Essentially, 18+ US users sign up by adding a Visa or Mastercard debit card. All their account details are held by Square Cash, you don’t have to worry as much about trusting Snapchat, which has had privacy and security problems in past.
Snapcash is obviously useful in many scenarios that require the quick exchange of cash, but the main one that comes to mind allows enterprising young ladies to become savvy, smutty businesswomen. You want a nude? Pay up, pervert.
And here’s a super fun video that explains the feature, sans the nude-for-cash application:

I feel like the marketing department at snapchat has one job. “How can we present this update like it wasn’t designed with nudes in mind?” Honestly probably not an easy job.
11 years ago at 6:45 pmTrusting my money to an app that its sole purpose is to make things disappear in less than 10 seconds… Yeah that sounds like a great fucking idea
11 years ago at 7:02 pmSo I can essentially go to a strip club all the time on my phone? I love America.
11 years ago at 7:19 pmDon’t get any ideas here Dorno, we’re not going to start paying for access to the forum a couple weeks from now.
11 years ago at 7:43 pmApple pay is having trouble catching on to this payment trend, and they blow these guys out the water. I doubt this venture gets to Series A stage.
11 years ago at 7:45 pmThey’re already past series a, if they wanted to do they could perform an exit, they were offered 3 billion from Facebook and now our starting a round of financing with Ali baba that will value them around 10 billion
11 years ago at 9:23 pm^ you’re right.
11 years ago at 12:46 pmIt also allows you to wire your friends your share the eight ball
11 years ago at 9:03 pmCheck out Venmo for that
11 years ago at 9:55 pmWithout holding funds in the gateway like Venmo that collect interest, how exactly does square and snapchat get paid for these transactions when they offer an instant transfer from account to account?
11 years ago at 10:11 pmI am guessing there is some sort of charge added on, ie 5% or a flat rate of 2.50 or something. I could imagine it being small enough that you don’t think about it but large enough that it will make them a good profit
11 years ago at 11:26 pmSnapcash’s competition, Venmo, is also free but they make their money by holding your money transfer until you withdraw it, and it gathers interest. Snapcash is literally bank account to bank account for the exact amount. Everything I’ve read about snapcash says that they lose money on each transaction, which leads me to believe there is something else in the works.
11 years ago at 11:49 pmCharging for nudes is like a website covering up all their nudes with sail boats. Oh wait….
11 years ago at 11:49 pmAm I the only one thinking about how easy it will be to ‘borrow’ someones phone and send yourself a lil’ snapchat stimulus package?
11 years ago at 2:24 amwait, I’m confused. why would a girl ever charge people to see her nudes if she could just let them see them for free? I’m a girl and I’d never make a guy pay to see nudes.
