      Yea you can obviously hit a low shot to keep it out of the wind, but its a lot harder to judge and control that distance.

      Low draw off the tee, less need for distance control. Hit the cut on the approach, cut spin will stop the ball faster, but more prone to wind as the cut generally flies higher.
