Man Arrested For Masturbating On Sidewalk While Acting Like A Gorilla, Apparently Honoring Harambe Is A Crime

A Warren, Ohio man was recently arrested while reportedly “acting like a gorilla” and touching himself in a public area.

From News 8:

Timothy Cook, 32, of Leavittsburg entered the nearby License Bureau, waved his arms around, exited the business and began masturbating on the sidewalk, according to the police report. The License Bureau then locked its doors due to safety concerns.

By the time officers arrived, they said they found Cook sweating profusely in the parking lot, acting like a “gorilla” by squatting on all fours, punching the blacktop, jumping up and down, screaming non-coherently and growling.

Okay, so I get that this is a bad look for the guy. But let’s hold off on our hot takes and judgments and remember to have a little sensitivity. This fellow lives in Ohio, which was ground zero for this whole Harambe story. I’m not sure whether Ohio is in a formal state of emergency or not, but the whole state is riddled with grief and confusion. All this guy was doing was looking for answers, and what do you do, Ohio? You subdue and jail him? That’s what the hell is wrong with this country.

So this guy is grief-stricken and in an altered state of mind (he was very intoxicated upon his arrest), and the police couldn’t bother to put themselves in his position? It’s clear that we can’t trust the police of Ohio (along with the zookeepers), so now it’s up to the citizens to take to the streets, walking on all fours and pounding their chests in solidarity for this poor soul. He never wished to be caught up in all this. He just took the whole “dicks out” thing to heart..
