Gatlinburg is probably one of the tackiest, crapiest, most touristy parts of East TN. Everyone and there cousin loves them some Dollywood. Fishing is pretty good there though.
How the hell can any of you be from Tennessee and not know the difference between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg? Pigeon Forge is without a doubt a redneck-tourist packed hellhole. I fucking hate everything about that place. Historic Gatlinburg on the other hand, while it has its touristy flaws, is far better if you know the right places to go.
Obviously, y’all don’t know too much about Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Because all of it is horrible now and has turned into a trashy rat hole due to the type of people who visit there, but beyond the tourist attractions and trash, there is a much higher quality of people that live there and have a quality of life there. Thankfully, I got out and left and only have to go whenever I want to visit the fam.
