OU Running Back Joe Mixon Tweets That He’s Dedicating His Season To Haters
Joe Mixon, who for some reason is still a running back at OU after being reinstated not too long ago, punched a girl. The police affidavit said that the girl had “a fractured jaw, fractured cheek bone, fractured sinus, and fractured orbit which caused a hematoma on the left eye.” Mixon claimed self-defense and was charged.
Hitting a woman is, regardless of circumstance, obviously a despicable act. It’s an act that got Ray Rice suspended and eventually cut from the Baltimore Ravens. Florida State has had to deal with this same issue with De’Andre Johnson and Dalvin Cook. Johnson is no longer with the team, but Cook is still with the team as of now.
Not shockingly, Bob Stoops has drawn a bunch of criticism at Big 12 media days for his decision to give Joe Mixon a second chance.
With the season coming up, and the people criticizing Mixon more and more, Joe took to Twitter to address it.
What haters are we talking about here? When you clock a woman, everyone hates you. I am expecting a lot of creative gameday signs wherever OU travels. I’ll put money that the best come from TCU fans. Just a hunch. .

Completely agree that this is blatant hypocrisy by OU and completely disgusting and despicable on his part. But from an entirely different point of view the girl allegedly, according to some reports called him racial slurs, spit on him, and was harassing him. If that is true and if she was a guy that kind of shit gets you rightfully knocked out. It’s dispicable for a girl to be hit though. Everyone agrees on that because it is. People (feminists) want to agree that this is disgusting but still whine about equality.
