Neither can I…It’s not like they need the revenue, which would be minimal anyway because democrats are GDI’s, and we all know that GDI’s are not allowed to wear bowties.
i vote democrat for my senators and congressmen, republican for my presidents. i dont care if taxes go up some, im not going to run out of money. besides, noblesse oblige=fratty.
But do you consider yourself a republican or a democrat? It all comes down to which tie you would purchase…I just don’t see the democratic tie selling nearly as well in a market dominated by southern gentlemen.
i have both, and wear each when socially appropriate, so take that for what you will. i will say that louisiana has a long tradition of fratty dems, e.g. edwin edwards. as to your point on sale numbers, i think the cost of printing another version of a limited run tie is likely smaller than the benefit of selling even one hundred of them.
You make a valid point. I have no quarrel with the democratic party as a whole. I should have specified…liberals are not allowed wear bow ties. I will say that it takes balls to proudly wear both though.
if they ever make a pocket square of either pattern, i will start mixing and matching. and the democratic party here is not particularly liberal, its an odd political environment.
I can’t begin to understand why they even offer a democrat version
